What is a Qualified Guest?
A qualified guest is defined as any prospective member that is accompanied by a member who can sponsor them for membership of The Moose, with the exception of an immediate family member under the age of 21.
PRIVATE POLICY: For the protection of our tax-free statue and constitutional Right of Privacy:
“You are either a Member or a Guest!”
**Important to Remember!
Only ACTIVE Members of The Moose, whose Active status has been verified are permitted to make purchases.
Not sure if you are current - check your card!
You Must show your card each and every time you make a purchase.
Immediate Family
There are no limits on the number of times an immediate family member under the age of 21, may be admitted as a guest.
However, all other immediate family member would be limited to TWO (2) visits as they now qualify as a prospective member of the person signing them into the social quarters.
Current Member Guidelines
A Current/Active Member is defined as a member who has paid their annual dues to date. All active Members of The Moose shall be admitted to the social quarters of any Lodge, as long as they are in good standing. Each member of The Moose shall submit proof of membership when requested by any member of the Board of Officers or its authorized person. Expired members are not allowed to enter the lodge as a guest, except to pay their dues.
Prospective Member Guidelines
As permitted by the Board of Officers a prospective member may be admitted subject to the following:
* The prospective member is accompanied at all time by their sponsor.
* The prospective member is properly signed in as a guest.
* The prospective member shall not make purchases.
* The prospective member shall leave when their sponsor leaves
* The prospective member shall be limited to two (2) visits.

The Spouse ruling passed at the Conference that both will now have to be registered members moving forward. Please help if you are one of the families that have a spouse not a member. Please help by going on line and becoming a Member the Lodge! You already know what a Blessing your dues are to the Moose! Ladies, please also consider becoming a Woman of The Moose! We have a lot of fun and do many things for the Moose locally and Internationally.

The Heart of the Community Scholarship Program.
There is no better way to help the youth of the Fraternity than to offer them the opportunity to further their education, and that is exactly what the Moose “Heart of the Community” Scholarship is all about. The following requirements must be met in order to be eligible for the Moose - The Heart of the Community Scholarship Program.
The applicant must:
Be a student of the high school graduating Class of 2026 (to be verified by a high school official).
Have a father, mother, step-parent, grandparent or legal guardian who is a current member of the Moose in good standing (Applicant is NOT required to reside in the same household).
Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale or equivalentverified
by a copy of student’s transcript.
(Completing the above criteria qualifies for a chance for a $1,000 scholarship.)
If the applicant completes one or more of the optional criteria below. He/she will qualify for a chance for a $5,000 scholarship:
In-School / Extra-Curricular activities (i.e. school sports teams, band, chess club, theater, etc.)
To satisfy this requirement a school official must verify this by completing their section of the application. Out-of-School activities (i.e. employment, scouting programs, music lessons, non-school related sports)
To satisfy this requirement Moose International must receive a letter or email from the student’s supervising adult (boss, troop leader, etc.) no later than June 30, 2025.
The letter should include: 1) The name, title, email, and phone number of the supervising adult;
2) Details of the student’s participation; 3) The type of activities they engaged in; and,
4) The dates/date range of their participation. (Submit by email, fax or mail.)
Application, transcripts, and any additional letters/enclosures must be sent in as one submission.
Do not send each item separately.

Chapter Treasurer or Moose Legion Secretary on the application or by email, fax or U.S. mail.)

Faxed applications must be received by June 30, 2025. Mailed applications must be postmarked on or before June 30, 2025. Application must be completed in its entirety to be valid.
Winners are randomly drawn and will be notified by November 17, 2025.
Scholarship checks will be mailed directly to the college of their choice.
